You can now get in-product guidance on the SERP intent alignment row and AI Overview badge — two signals that connect your structural analysis to the external retrieval environment.
The product tour skipped two of the most prominent new elements on the dashboard: the SERP intent alignment row and the AI Overview badge. Users encountering these for the first time had no in-product explanation of what they mean or how to act on them.
The SERP intent row tells users whether the top search results for their topic reward the same structural role their page is built for — surfacing a reframe decision that structural analysis alone cannot make. The AIO badge signals that Google is serving an AI-generated summary for the topic, which raises the bar for structural completeness: the page needs to be source-able, not just present. Together, they connect the internal analysis to the external retrieval environment. Without tour coverage, users had no way to understand what these signals contribute to the recommendations.
The dashboard tour auto-launches on first visit after an analysis completes, so unguided elements undermine the onboarding flow at exactly the moment new users are forming their mental model.
